I have always loved art, as well as the idea of expressing myself through art. The techniques that I use are all self taught.  My natural God given ability of creative expression  through drawing, are talents given to me by my parents. I love being creative, so I have  tried various ways of expressing my artistic ability.

Several years ago, I began using clothing as my medium. I was  fascinated by the simplicity of transforming the mundane into utterly  unique by taking plain clothing and turning it into something vibrant and beautiful—a work of art!

I have  always felt that beauty is subjective to each individual’s taste. Therefore, I try to create designs that would appeal to each individual’s sense of style and personality.  All of this lead me to create Alwood Designs where I can take my designs and create original works of wearable art.     Andrea
